Ramakrishna Mission Shilpavidyalaya , a reputed Private Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) of Howrah district, was established in 1921 by Ramakrishna Mission in the vicinity of its Headquarters at Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal. In these 93 years of service, the institution has been inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s deep insight that the fulcrum of India’s progress depends on the improvement of the masses, especially in rural India.
This philanthropic institution is devoted to provide two/one year skills training in technical courses to underprivileged students of rural and urban areas in order to make them professionals employable in the industry. As part of these courses students also receive education in constructive nation-building and man-making ideas of Swami Vivekananda.
At present this Institute is affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (N.C.V.T) and gives vocational training in the following trades.
