Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure shall start either on last week of April or first week of May in the current year. It shall be notified through Admission Notice in the Institute and Website.

Admission Notice and Admission Schedule shall be published before start of Admission Procedure.

Admission Procedure is passed through four stages as below:

Stage 1 : Application Form
a) Application forms with prospectus will be available on payment of Rs.250/- only in cash from the office of the Institute only and will not be available by post or by mail etc.
b) All the information in the Application forms is mandatory. Guardian signature is not required at this stage.
c) One Application can be submitted for one Trade only.For Detail information about NCVT and Non-NCVT Trade, applicant has to see our Website (www.rkmshilpavidyalaya.ac.in).
d) Applicant has to attach self-attested copies of
i) Madhyamik Marksheet
ii) Madhyamik Admit Card
iii) Marksheet of Higher Secondary Exam. if applicable.
e) Application forms duly filled in along with necessary enclosures as mentioned therein should be submitted in
person and not by post at the very same day when it is purchased or before last day as instructed in the Admission
Notice.
f) Application duly filled with correct information shall be called for the Written Test as per the Admission Schedule.
Stage 2 : Written Test
a) Applicant has to appear the Written Test according to the NCVT Trade he has applied for.
b) Standard : Madhyamik (10th)
Subject : Physical Science, Mathematics and Geometrical Drawing for (DMM & DMC Trade),
:Physical Science,Mathematics for (EM and Electrician Trade)
Duration : 1-hour
Language of Exam Paper: English & Bangla
c) Date for the Written Test of different NCVT Trade is to be followed as per Admission Schedule.
d) Place and Timing for the Written Test for different NCVT Trade will be mentioned in Admit Card.
e) On the day of Test applicant has to carry admit card compulsorily which has been issued during the submission of
application. Without Admit Card, Applicant will not be allowed to appear for the Written Test.
f) Late arrival for the Written Test shall not be allowed.
g) Successful candidate of the Written Test shall be called for the interview for the different NCVT Trade as per the Admission Schedule.
h) There is no Written Test for Non-NCVT Trade.
i) Calculator is not allowed. Mobile should be switched off during examination.
Stage 3 : Oral Test (Viva Voce)
a) Interview shall be conducted as per the Admission Schedule for different Trade (NCVT and Non-NCVT).
b) During the time of interview applicant has to carry following document compulsorily
i) Admit Card of the Application Form
ii) Original of the Madhyamik Marksheet
iii) Original of Madhyamik Admit Card
iv) Original of Marksheet of Higher Secondary Exam, if applicable.
Without these documents the Interview shall be disqualified.
c) Those Applicants who are absent in the interview and could not follow their scheduled Day and Timing for any reason shall not be given another chance for interview.
d) Result of successful candidates will be declared through Notice Board.
Stage 4 : Final Admission
a) Final list for the students to be admitted in the respective trade will be made on the basis of written test, interview and
academic result.
b) If anybody found absent on the time of admission next person will be admitted.
c) The total course fees should be submitted on the admission day itself. If anybody has not brought total fees, next person will be admitted.
